Decided that I missed having a 914 and since I have built more than my share from scratch.... getting someone else's incomplete project for 50 cents on the dollar was more instantly gratifying....plus being an admin and dispensing advice w/o actually OWNING a 914 was not the proper thing to do....I mean, you CAN have one that doesn't run.....Jack stands R US....
So.....picked up Brian Frenz' 3.2 conversion on eBay about 2 months ago. Shipped it from Wisconsin to McMark in Napa where the odds and ends are getting finished.....creature comforts, like HEAT and DEFROSTING and clean wiring, alignment, hoses fixed, gauges hooked up....that little crap that I hate futzing with.....
Anyways, I'm going up Saturday morning with my trailer to pick it up and bring it home.....found some "neato torpedo" five lug lug gas burners and had Al Reed do his magic on them.....McMark will take the Boxster wheels that are on it now.....will post pics when I get the car on the trailer.
