I was looking for a place to rebuild my 914-6 in the late '90s. There was a loudmouthed, fast talking salesman who answered the phone, and he told me that if I wanted to increase my displacement from 2.0 liters to 2.4 then I'd have to install a roll cage or my 914 would fold up like a taco. I told him he was an idiot and thus avoided dealing with them.
Sometimes growing up in a small town you get to be a good judge of character.
