Definitely no 3.6 needed in this thing. It has a freshly built, high compression, S cammed, carbed 3.0, with early SC big port heads. I bough the 914 thinking I would sell the 3.0 it came with and put my 2.2S motor into it. After half a day driving the 3.0, that plan is in serious jepordy. The 3.0 is REALLY strong. So now I have three great motors and one of them has to go. Its a tough decision.
