Why not head over to San Pedro Brewery?
I used to do Sunday (and Monday) football religiously at Legends in Belmont Shores until it burned down a little more than a year ago (still no visible work done - I imagine it's bogged down in insurance adjusting and/or trying to get a building permit).
I'd do the sushi bar thing but being vegetarian and all kinda' precludes that. . .
