In general my 30G Video works great. I've had problems with my older iPod. Cost to service it was the same as buying a new one. Wonder how many of these get serviced?
Latest problem for me was my ENTIRE library on iTunes vanished. Had to install some 3rd party software to transfer the library from the iPod back to iTunes. Then it reappeared with TWO of every song and video! Had to manually delete 100s of doubles. Yeah, these Apple products never have any user interface problems!
