My 77 2.7 has a ticking sound coming from the right side of the engine when started cold. It goes away when the RPMs go up or once the engine is warm. I adjusted the valves this winter when the engine was out (first time). I am thinking it is just the pressure fed tensioners that I installed, but would like more opinions.
