I agree, something just not 'right' about it. Personally, I would shy away from any 911 Targa to Cab conversion. The reasons are mostly emotional but it seems that there is so much that needs to be done 'right' when doing this...

I also get that 'itchy' feeling seeing the goofy fogs, crest on the top, extra speaker sitting in the back seat, three miles of yellow piping, and yet the drivers arm rest is warped badly??? Probably just me. I'd get a top-notch PPI on this one.

Also curious that your considering this one at 11k yet also looking at an '87 Cab for 22k. If your have that much cash in your budget, I'd surely skip the conversion and get an original cab.

All the above IMHO. I hope that which ever way you go is rewarding and makes you happy... That's what it's all about.
