The point is the SLR is a damned nice car to drive drunk and risk having an accident in. Typical of some overpaid and overly-appreciated Hollywood celebs is a disregard for posessions others would highly covet.
Christina Richi (sp?) from the movie "The Addams Family" used to come by our building in a new-ish 996. The car was scratched up, ran like poo, and had horrible curb rash on all four wheels.
But to her, it was just a paycheck.
