The interceptions were in desperation time, and it was indeed good defensive schemes that caused them. Prior to that they could pass almost at will.

The most glarring drop was the simple TD that hit Chambers in the facemask! Then the other where he was wide open and Pep overthrough him by 10 yards. These were oddball mistakes that generally won't happen.


Pitt's go ahead TD was another oddball, likely the longest TD by a tight end in Pitt history and probably for the league in several years. It was a good play, but a rarity that broke their way. Miami had done an excellent job stopping Pitt to that point, especially the pass. Broken coverage......
