I once had a '70 911T I put a front fiberglass '72S stle bumper on. Worked great. Except one day, I was washing waxing, and a section of the bumper had gone "soft", like flexible rubber. The cause? Excess brake fluid exiting the factory bleed tube located behind the bumper. I took some aquarium airline tubing, extended the factory tube to exit UNDER the car, not on the second fibergalss bumper I bought & had painted. Words to the wise...brake fluid softens fiberglass!
