America is currently in Iraq in order to prevent the government of Iraq from ever gaining power. Yes, we had some lovely elections there a few months ago. But infortunately, the Iranian terrorists
won those elections. So now it is our job to keep our collective thumb on the Iraqi government to prevent it from merging any more with Iran than it already has. If we leave Iraq, then Iran will get control of the Iraqi oil fields and the critical ports to the Gulf. In effect, Iran will become a terrorist superpower.
That is why we are in Iraq. The Iraqi people clearly support the Iranian terrorists and voted overwhelmingly to put their terrorist brothers into power. So we need to keep the Iraqi people powerless in order to contain Iran.
