Hello Allan,
I have a love hate relationship with my front bumper guards. They won out and they are staying. What really looks good with a bumper guard car is a set of original fog lights below. Try a find a copy of "Carrera RS" a big green book costing about $250.00. I think Big Daddy has them for sale. Thumb through it and you will see many photos of awesome 911s. And you'll get a chance to see bumper guards with fog lights below. It's a great book showing the many differant rear spoilers that Porsche was experimenting with in wind tunnel tests. Actually its a "RS" bible.

I TOO need a project car. I've been accumulating many parts. I want a metallic green 69 or 70 coupe to have fun with. I have fun with my present 911 ( Bahama yellow ) But I really want a green car and there is Noooo way I'm going to do a colour change to my car. The paint is still shiny, only a couple of door dings and some wear to some of the edges around the hood and engine lid area. Carpet original and so are the seats and dash....Hell, everything is original in the car except the engine inners. My dad bought me the car new in 1969 when I returned home from that nasty war... ..and only have 240,000 miles on it. The first and last re-build was in Feb. 1978.
Engine and trans. Check out that RS book you'll enjoy it!
Good Luck, Mark
