I don't have a problem with them banning anything, if they think it will help even in a minuscule way.
(While they are at it, they can ban anyone who sits in the departure gate talking loudly on a cell phone).
Sorry, I digress, pet peeve #28.
Anyhoo,
I travel a lot, 60+ flights a year, so as the the odds on crashing or blowing up increase the more you fly........anything they do is OK with me.
This latest ban changes the logistics of flying a bit, with a lot more checked bags.
e.g. When I went on a short trip last week I toOK my usual carry-on, problem is I have to check it as I have toothpaste in it.
"Big deal" say you," leave it behind".
I would but the flight does not land until some unearthly time in the AM, & I go straight to work. The last thing I want to do is go shopping for toothpaste!

If there are any of you out there working for Hotels PLEASE add toothpaste to the free items in the bathroom (the stuff they have at reception is crap).
You will be able to afford it because no one is taking the shampoo and stuff anymore 'cos they can't take it home on the plane!!!!
