I think you might have better reliability with a 3.8 X51 motor transplant. Not sure what those run (I think FVD has one for around $25k installed), but I've heard some issues with turbo charging and supercharging some of the "street" motors. Something about the bearings not being strong enough to handle that kind of power? Not sure...but I definitely remember reading about it. An X51 3.8 motor will give you about 380 very reliable hp if I remember correctly. There might be ways to tweak some more out of it, but at least you'll have a stronger car this way.
