From the mileage, you must have driven every day. How often did you change oil? Synthetic or dino? Does the car have some huge oil cooler to keep temps down? Share with us your secrets. Drive hard? moderate? Anything at all would help. You have three times the life expectancy of these magnesium wonders.

What finally happened to make you pull the engine? Guides on a 300k 2.7 must be way gone. Head studs? Too much smoke?

Any chance the PO slipped a 3.0 in before you bought? I (and others) am impressed. Share with us your secret. My 2.7 has 100k, would be pleased with 120k!
