You should check out the website autoenginuity.com I don't want to give and misinformation.

I use it to pull codes, log OBD data during races (like speed and RPM), check coolant temp and therefore the proper function of the cooling system.

It has a speed tracer program that is supposed measure hp and acceleration but I haven't used it yet.

It used to take a long time to connect but that has gotten better, however it still takes a short while to connect.

I bought the PC and PPC version. You need a PPC with a serial cable or maybe bluetooth to make it work.
