Yep, disassembly of the tie rod end was the worst part for me.
One end came off ok, the other was stuck big time. It took an overnight soak with penetrating oil, a torch, big ass hammer and the removal tool. The tie rod removal tool isn't that expensive, about $20 at an auto parts store.
The 101 projects book comes in handy if you've never done it before.
