at the margin, Apple's cost on these devices is
literally pennies on the dollar. it would not be a problem for them to help a customer with this, as the incurred cost, which would have created a satisfied customer, would be some of the best "advertising" money could buy. too bad Apple isn't as "intelligent" as they always want you to believe
