Check me on this one gurus...
I have been working on a friends '84 auto 944, as he claimed it is "bogging down" while driving around town since getting it back from his brother (just returned from a tour in the sand box). I of course started with the standard: cyl kill checks, noid checks, timing, tranny flush, yada, yada. Then something finally clicked in my head! Somebody had installed a quick response throttle cam! As I recall, the auto 944 wont work properly with the quick response cam?!? Does the shape of this cam change the kick down angle that much? I have to search through the garage to find "box #7" of Porsche parts, at least I think thats the box that has my extra intake parts, and hopefully the proper elongated throttle cam!
I'll let y'all know if that fixes the issue!
Laters,
Nick
