The throttle cam is no problem with the automatics. The reason why its advertised as not working with an automatic car is due to the different throttle cable, which actually wraps around the entire cam and back through the firewall. A quick work with a grinding tool (like a dremel) will make any throttle response cam work with an automatic.
Bogging down while driving could me a miss fire of some sort. What is the condition of the plugs, wires, cap and rotor?
If you want a stock throttle response cam.. i have one i could sell.. from my automatic 924S non the less..
