I didn't plant my 100'+ oaks and 130'+ Tulip Poplar's, and other tree's; but they're completely mine (and my wife's
), not the neighbor's and certainly not the government's.
This is one reason, not the biggest but close, for my having no regrets about leaving California; it's much worse out there.
