Hey guys,
That was my car. I can't say I'm thrlled it's getting flipped and it would have been nice to see it go to an enthusiast.

HOWEVER, the buyer followed the rules I layed out - he showed up first with the check and I was done with it in under one hour. As you can imagine, it wasn't an easy decision for me to sell it, and it was good to get it done quickly.

I've sold 3 Porsches in the last 10 years, all of which I was in love with, and each time was a MAJOR hassle. Tire kickers, check bouncers, Nigerian mafia, etc. I'm well aware (having built the car up from scratch) that it was worth more like $15-20. I spent quite a bit on parts.

But I made the decision to get it out of my garage quickly before I changed my mind. The extra few K was not worth the hassle (to me - YMMV if you are in my shoes, obviously).

Bottom line is that I got what I asked, and the buyer got the car. I had higher offers before I sold, but it was important to me to be ethical and follow the rules I set up myself.

If anyone you know buys it from the flipper, be sure to contact me - he didn't take the records or the spare tire. I can also fill you in on all the wiring/fuel system/oil system changes.
