Something had to come along and help save Amtrak. I flew up to San Jose last Friday to bring my car home. I hadn't been on a plane since '98. After 2001, I thought I would never fly again with all the stupid, irrelevant hassle. Well, an opportunity to get another 911 got me in the seat.
But wait, there’s more: My 1st flight was cancelled just as I was leaving for the airport. You don't want to hear the rest of it and I don't want to type it. Too much. I got to SJ finally and even on the same day on the same airline.
These people are so fu***d up that I doubt I will ever even pick someone else up at an airport, much less go inside. I'd rather shop at Wal-Mart than deal with their imbecility. It’s like all the government workers all in the same place, leaning on their shovels or at the water cooler, off in the head jerkin’.
If there was ever a case to prove the “lowest common dominator” theory, this industry is the epitome. I talked to a ‘supervisor” to get things going and she kindly booked me for the flight, but a day later. I felt real good trying to board the plane with tomorrow’s pass. I KNOW she had one finger between her thighs to keep that stupid grin and girly voice comin’ my way. Just a young cow like the rest of the barnyard animals working in an airport.
Oh, and they promised me another ticket for another time. I’ve not seen it yet, nor been emailed about it. I doubt I would do anything with it unless my wife could use it under her name.
If it's too far to drvive my 911, I ain't goin'
