civilians* meaning actual innocent people killed, not families that invite terrorists into their homes and are killed because of it.

Killing one civilian is a war crime, it makes no difference if it's accidental or not.
What makes the crimes in this particular war much more onerous than in some past military adventures staged by the US government is that it was a war of choice, based on lies, opposed by everyone with more than 5 gray cells to rub together, and both immoral and unethical.
