Still, dialogue between world leaders is important, and I'd much rather see dialogue than what happened last week, where Bush and the Iranian leader avoided each other at the UN. Each country is different, and are evolving from different histories so communication is the key to understanding.

I sure didn't say that talking with leaders was wrong. I think Dubya should have talked with I'm-a-dinner-jacket when he was here.
But embracing tyrannical dictators as 'personal friends' is a bit over the top. Especially when they express support for public enemy #1.
