There are a lot more convicted felons than most people realize in our society. In doing some of the hiring at my old company we did background checks and I would have to guess that around 20% of the population have had a run-in with the law. Majority of them are non-violent and lots of them are stupid kid drug related cases.

As long as it had been over 10 years since their conviction and no hassles since, we would hire them if they met our needs. Some of them were our best employees as they knew that they had a lot to lose and not many more chances in society. Do not exactly agree with the blanket statement above.

Now if you are talking about all child molestors being scum, would agree totally. They deserve to be taken out of the courthouse and shot, in the gut and allowed to die slowly.

Friend of mine was a Fed prison warden for 20 years. Said that the punks (molestors) were someone's girlfriend inside and raped whenever needed.
