Sorry to resurrect a bit of an old thread, but the boys at Autosure.nl have made their excellent vid of the 2006 Le Mans Classic available for download from their website. It's 36 minutes long and really very good in my opinion. The sound in particular is great, and it all brought back lots of memories of the event.
Will take a while to download the zip file, but if you were there I think it's worth watching. If you weren't there I think it's worth watching too. It isn't all Porsche, there's quite a mix of content.
There are some great details; the '356' clicking round on the odometer at the start, the footage of the racecars moving through the crowd (one of my favourite aspects of the weekend), the queue of GT40s exiting the paddock, and the low shots of the cars heading out on track in the night sessions, but the most surprising part about it is the food organised by the 356 Club of The Netherlands (The Van Houtens are Dutch 356 boys). I'm buying a 356, moving to Amsterdam and going with those guys in 2008!
