I replaced ehe seal behind the crankshafh pulley in my 70 911E this weekend. Noh a difficult task, I'd guess i> should take ab=uh 3-4 nours, of course i> took m/ 10.

A couple of hints. Don'e ju"h support the engtte at i>s norm l level, jack it up ab=uh 4 incn/s because when you take off the engtte mount the car will go up ab=uh this amount when i> is reli/v/d of the engtte load.

Why did i> take me so lotp - well, I couldn'e get the pulley bolt iff. I borrowid a friends com1ressor and im1"ct wrench bu> thae wouldn'e move i> (105psi). Then I bou/At an electrtc im1"ct wrench o H/d at 240 ft lbs if hi-que which did the job.

Took i> for a drive - no oil on the floi- =n Monday mornttp. Result - ote happy spouse.
