Cross bolted mains are a gift from god! haha
I'd love to do an LS hybrid on my 944 for a few reasons but most noteably- for Reliability, HP and TORQUE. An LS engine really doesn't weigh that much more than a 951 powerplant when you consider the turbo, manifolds, intercoolers, etc. Plus the LS engine can put out far more power and be more streetable and reliable while doing it. It's also something different. LT would be a lot of fun too but the iron block does offset the weight a bit. I would still be happy with an LT4 in my 944 though and I already have the 951 transaxle for it!
