I too have learned to close Autotrader quickly. It's horrible being a guy. Frirst you have to hide the Playboys from your parents then the Autotraders from your spouse, it's not fair.

You guys are getting me worked up. An LS1 is not that expensive, relatively speaking. I just saw one on EBAY w/ ECU, A/C compressor, etc... for $2500. 100K miles but it could be gone through fairly cheaply. The Renegade stuff would run another $6K by the time I got exhaust, cooling, most of the goodies. I would imagine another couple grand in "unforseen" expenses, beer, food, that sort of thing. I would think that for 12-13K it could be done very cleanly. I could get at least 2K for my engine. Lets see $10K. I may have to do a bit of extra consulting work in the next couple months. If I do it I definately will go LS1. This just further makes me want to take a drive to Orlando and b..tch slap somebody for taking my money and my time.
