this is a pretty far stretch.
a 996 will outrun a WRX, and most 3.6L 911's should.... now, a 3.6L in a early car will easily out pace a wrx. and any 'restored' 930 can usually go pretty close pace for pace with most things...choose the hp range...lol..
boosted cars feel faster then they are, period. awd is great in ****ty conditions.... the cars still are not the same as good exmaples of 911s.
