I own a mercedes and bmw repair shop and I just helped a friend fix his STI. It is an 06 with about 5k in power mods. He slid out and hit a curb bending some suspension. I have driven the close to five hundred horsepower amg mercedes and heavily modded m5's and I have to tell you that this sti feels faster from 0-80. Super fast. I have and 85 carrera and it feels slow in comparison. This is probably the best horsepower,sport and daily driver option that is available today. One problem for me, it is and feels like a japanese car. One piece of advice unless you drive a 996 turbo dont drag race one for pinks.
