Lesbian Threesome...mmmmmm
Now with that out of the way...
As most of you know, Canada legally recognized gay marriage last year, which expanded the definition of marriage from a man and a woman to a woman and a woman or a man and a man.
But what's the next step? Why should other alternative lifestyles be exempt from the term "marriage" or "family"? Under the logic of the Canadian marriage decision, a three parent family shouldn't be excluded from being a family either. In fact, there's a case in Canadian courts where three lesbians are wanting joint legal custody as parents of a boy born from in vitro fertilization. Welcome to the new "family":

Under this same logic, government employees should be able to include a third partner as "family" for benefits at the expense of the state and you, the taxpayer.
I know most liberals are reluctant to draw lines for anything, but do you really think a family or marriage should have limitless definitions? How should a nation define these terms and legal rights attached to them?
