My RV service place says to run trailer tires at full rated pessure all the time. They don't wear out like car tires do and the pressure helps reduce flex in the side walls which is one of the biggest causes of failure. On my truck though I reduce the pressure by 10# when not towing the 5th wheel to make it ride a bit smoother as was recommended by them also. My trailer tires are 65# rated and so are the truck tires.
