Yeah, my appologies for the spelling. I should have double-checked, it didn't look right to me when I wrote it.
I flew into Charlotte last Wednesday Sept 27 and out again on Oct 3, but except for the airport I spent all my time in SC. An old highschool buddy was getting married in Columbia, but anything's a good excuse for a bit of touring around

. I put almost 900 miles on my rental car and had a great time. That was my first visit to your part of the world, but will probably not be my last.
Unfortunately I only drove through Greenville on my way to the BMW plant after driving west along the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway. Way too much to see and never enough time!
In case you're looking for another 911 I saw one for sale at a little 'used car lot' (they had a total of 4 cars) on the 11 just west of the intersection with the 178. It was a mid-year, and quite ratty with poorly bonded-on carrera flares, but maybe it's cheap; there was no price on it nor anyone around to ask.
