I've been insured with State Farm since 1969 - and worked for them in the auto claims dept. for 33 years before I retired in '04. They have insured a bunch of collector cars for me over the years. However, they may have a problem with what they will consider a "kit car" (even though a Beck isn't really a kit), since it probably isn't listed in their rating book. There was a time when they would insure almost anything on wheels, but the current version of State Farm isn't quite like it used to be.
I'm not adverse to going through Hagerty or another specialty carrier if I have to, but I'd like to stay with SF it at all possible.
I've been wanting a Beck 550 for years. Meeting Mr. Beck and then seeing Jake's car about 100 yards away really messed me up.
Anyone in the market for a perfect, never smoked in, garaged, low mileage (under 500) 6-speed 2006 GTO?
