We've been with State Farm for over 20 years. All the cars, homes, rentals etc. Our agent nearly fell off the chair laughing when we tried to get insurance for the spyder....
It is the choice of the individual agent. He chose NO. Our car is insured through Motorsports Insurance in CA. No mileage restrictions.
Our car is titled as a 1955 Porsche Spyder Replica based on its MSO. Each state varies, but in Oregon, if you understand the vehicle registration laws, you can get the car registered as such. The car is eligible to use and has permanent antique plates (1955) complete with the 1955 date tag. With its 1955 registration it is missions exempt. Though I'd bet it will pass any pipe test.
