I am in Thailand so powder coating is not really that expensive, and he is my best friend to boot.
Yes they are cooked at 200C and my concern is damaging the internal o-ring. There apparently is a concern that the fluid will weep when cooked and cause problems with the powder.
The 944 turbo repair kit remains a problem. The link provided and others that I can find on-line do not have the 36/40mm 4 pot repair kits.
Does anyone have a source for this kit?
