You see, I interpret this story a little differently. I certainly shows the 911 is and always will be a fast and competent vehicle....but it was 2 seconds slower than the WRX. This is not proof the 911 is king. Were the WRX STI cars or *just* wrx models? My (very limited) experience has been that the STI makes the WRX look like the aspro RS model (of which one I own and enjoy currently). I know you ozzies get better cars than us North Americans, so it may be a semantic debate. No foffense meant, just trying to wrap my head around selling my Porsche to buy a STI.
