If Bush had pulled his head out of his ass months ago and either not gotten us into the Iraq quagmire or required a viable exit strategy, we'd have had more resources to commit to dealing with North Korea (and Afghanistan, and Sudan, but those are seperate issues). It's kind of hard to use strong-arm diplomacy with a country that knows your military is incapable of touching them. And N.K. is simply exploiting that advantage.
So do I think it's Bush's fault? Not directly, but the omission resulting from f*cked-up priorities is glaring and certainly facilitate all the saber-rattling and militarism in N.K. to some extent. It's not 100% his fault, but his *****ty and retarded foreign policies are at least partially culpable, particularly given how we've bumbled around with no coherent response to N.K.'s "screw you" to the six-party talks.
Bush is a foreign policy imbicile. His domestic policy ain't so hot either.
