Unless you know something I don't, I wouldn't hold my breath for any new front-engine sports cars from Porsche. The Cayenne and the upcoming 4-door (Panamera?) are just efforts to grab market share and stay independent. But if Porsche were to merge with another company, then they probably would build a front-engine sports car on a shared platform, similar to the arrangement between the Touareg and the Cayenne.
