I own a 2004 WRX (chipped, updated air/exhaust plumbing) and a '79 930 (moderately updated). If I've gone for a ride in the 930 and later have to take the WRX out, it really doesn't keep up with my right foot's intentions. Maybe with more mods...
However, the WRX is still a helluva lot of fun in the rain/snow, whereas the 930 is a coffin in those conditions.
