I may not be the sharpest tack in the box but...
Can anyone explain to me how porting and compression ratio have anything to do with rpm redline of an engine???
I understand balancing, different valve springs, better rod and thru case bolts, shuffling pinning, etc, etc...but porting & cr?
I really don't understand that at all....
Oh BTW (is that "by the way" or "between women"....I guess they both work), I am one who thinks early cars are thoroughly overpriced.
They have transcended being plain cars (which is what I really care about), and have become works of art or investments (which is something that would have Ferry rolling over in his grave I think).
IMHO
