Well yeah - that's a large part of my rationale. I can honestly say that I have learned my 911 inside and out. I have been *intimate* with it for years now. I believe from a drivers standpoint I have been there done that as far as having had the classic raw 911 experience.

Now I've grown and am ready to spread my wings a bit. I guess if you're going to be a "one car guy" for the rest of your life, the 911 would be the car to do it with, but really, there's no moral code that says you be monogamous with your car.

On top of ALL of that, I am in my heart a four cylinder, front engine small car guy. I always have been. I'm drawn to Datsun 510's, E30 BMW's, Alfa Romeo GTV's....and yes Subaru Imprezas. The STi is an early 21st century icon. I want to be able to tell my grandchildren "sure I had a 911, and an Sti as well".

Funny though, yesterday afternoon my brther and I went for a tear in the 911 and I believe the words "why would I ever sell this car" came out of my mouth!

OOHH GAWD I'M SO CONFLICTED!
