But he never claimed that his car went and ACTUAL 165. Nor did he claim that he GPS tracked his car and went 165.
What he
did say was that he went 165. Any reasonable person would deduce from that statement that he was looking at his speedometer. Hell, when the whole incident went down consumer GPS systems weren't even a blip on the radar. So please, let's try to avoid a semantic argument here.
As a refresher, my dad (who was there in the car, mind you) said the needle was PAST the 165 mark...
And, for my next trick, I will cite the example of our 356 - speedo calibrated by No Ho Speedo in June or July of this year; in August I ran the car to an indicated 140 with a full tank of gas, an extra passenger, luggage, spare tire, full interior, and a tool kit. Remember, my 356 is only a little 4 cylinder.
