This took an hour to read, but was worth it.
Why would we think that a car with an unknown powerplant would not spin up to 8500 repeatedly? The thing could be balanced to the microgram range and built like a brick *****house, for all anyone knows.
Then again, with stock muffler, distributor, injection, et al, how much power can it make? Was it configured this way when it did the 165?...who knows. Was the top open?
So, the guy writes bad ads (how did you sell the other countless cars you owned?)...so what. I bought my car on Ebay, but not for 40K plus. I hope someone takes some pictures of the big day, and that everyone together has a few cold ones afterward.
