The only time mine went was before I came to this forum and I thought my belts were suppose to be changed every 50,000 miles. I took mine to the track one weekend and I had 50,000 miles on it (and over two years old) and I had the engine at very high rpms all day and at the end of the day, I stripped some teeth off it. After that I came here and learned they should be good for 30,000 miles or every two years. If I had a belt with 14,000 miles on it, I wouldn't have a problem running it for a while yet. I have a friend that had 186,000 miles on his belts one time...he didn't even know he was suppose to change them....so it's hard to tell but 14,000 shouldn't be an issue, what's the length of time since it was last changed?
