My wife's getting 20 mpg driving to work these days, we got 24 mpg on a road trip mostly at around 80 mph, and on a trip from CA to SC wherein she remained behind me all the way at 55 mph (me towing a 10,000lbs.+ boat behind my F350), she got 28 mpg. Today's fuel/engine controls are pretty good.
