In July and August, 2001, Bush takes a well-deserved 7 week vacation, having been on the job all of 7 months.
In August, 2001, Bush presented with an urgent PDB warning that Obl was determined to strike the US. He tells the presenter, "ok, you've covered your ass," and goes back to his vacation.
September 11, 2001, ObL Strikes the US.
September 12, 2001, First cabinet-level meeting convened to discuss US Anti-terrorism policy.
May 2003, Bush invades Iraq under false premises.
October 2006, U.S. bogged down in a senseless civil war in Iraq, terrorists the world over use Bush as their No. 1 recruiter, Iran's power in the region never stronger, and N. Korea tests an atom bomb.
