there is the tip of the hood, then it curls under and makes a lip, from the edge of that lip to the middle of the first bolt is 39 inches, this is running down the drivers side edge.

from the very tip of the front drivers side edge to the middle of the first bolt its 39 1/2"

there are "ears" that stick off the hindges right before it goes to the piviot point, from those ears foward to the very tip of the hood its 44 and a half inches.

and this one is the least accurate, cause it was hard to read with just a tape and one hand, from the pivot point on the hindge to the tip of the hood should be right around 51 1/4"
